ASP.NET

ASP.NET is a server-side web application framework designed by Microsoft and best-fit to produce dynamic websites, web services and applications. The technology allows to achieve performance benefits by compiling the server-side code to DLL files stored on the web server on the first request of a page, thus providing performance boost and avoiding the need in separate compilation steps. Since 2015, ASP.NET (along with MVC and Web Pages) became a part of MVC 6 - a new framework developed by Microsoft.
